About ExactPix

ExactPix is a free reference guide and browser-based photo tool for anyone who needs to get a photo exactly right — whether it's a passport photo, a visa application, a LinkedIn headshot, or an Amazon product image.

What We Do

We maintain detailed, verified photo size guides for passports, visas, social media platforms, and e-commerce marketplaces. Each page includes the exact dimensions, file size limits, background rules, and common rejection reasons for that specific document or platform — so you can get it right the first time.

Our resize tool runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your photos are never uploaded to any server. No account required, no data collected, no cost. Your photo stays on your device from start to finish.

Why We Built This

We've seen too many passport applications delayed because of a photo that was 2mm too wide, a background that was off-white instead of white, or glasses that were banned three years ago. Every rejection means weeks of delay and real frustration.

Most existing tools are either generic image resizers that don't know the difference between a US passport (2×2 inches) and a UK passport (35×45mm), or they're passport-only services that don't cover social media and marketplace requirements. ExactPix covers everything in one place.

How We Verify Requirements

Every photo specification on ExactPix is verified against official government or platform sources. Each page links directly to the official source and displays a "last verified" date. We regularly review these sources for changes — like the UK's 2025 switch from 6-month to 1-month photo recency, or the US glasses ban that started in 2016.
