Canada uses the standard ICAO 35×45mm format but with a lower minimum pixel resolution (420×540) than most countries. Canadian passport photos require a plain white or light grey background, and glasses are not permitted. The head height must measure between 31mm and 36mm from chin to crown on the printed photo.
