Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 13, 2026
ExactPix ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website exactpix.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our site and tools.
Your Photos Stay on Your Device
This is the most important thing to know: your photos are never uploaded to our servers. The ExactPix photo resize tool runs entirely in your web browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. When you upload a photo to the tool, it is loaded into your browser's local memory, processed on your device, and the output is generated locally. At no point does any image data leave your device or pass through our servers.
We do not store, transmit, access, view, or retain any photos you process with our tool. We have no ability to see what photos you upload or what outputs you generate. This is by design — privacy is a core feature of ExactPix, not an afterthought.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
Photos, images, or any visual content you process
Names, email addresses, or account information (no accounts exist)
Payment information (ExactPix is free)
Passport numbers, visa details, or government document information
Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website. Clarity may collect:
Pages visited and time spent on each page
Device type, browser type, and screen resolution
General geographic location (country/region level, not precise)
Click patterns and scroll behavior (anonymized)
Clarity does not capture text typed into fields, and it does not have access to any photos processed by the ExactPix tool (which runs locally in your browser). For more information, see Microsoft Clarity's privacy disclosure↗.
Cookies
ExactPix itself does not set any first-party cookies. Microsoft Clarity may set cookies for analytics purposes. These are used to distinguish unique visitors and understand site usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Third-Party Links
Our guides link to official government websites (such as travel.state.gov, gov.uk, and passportindia.gov.in) and to commercial services (such as CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.
Children's Privacy
ExactPix does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Our baby passport photo guide provides information for parents taking photos of their children — no child data is collected or stored by us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
